I LOVE Science. My dad is a Science teacher in Florida, so at an early age Science was a huge part of my daily life. Our classroom has bones, fossils, rocks and minerals, and more. We will be conducting hands-on labs on a regular basis. Some of these labs include observing the mealworm life cycle, dissecting owl pellets, observing and classifying rocks and minerals, and creating circuits. Students will be responsible to recording and reflecting on data during the lab as well as in class in the Science Notebooks. These labs with be partner, team, and class tasks, however students will independently put all of these tasks together for a Science Fair that will be held during the Fourth Grade Open House in February.
